From the jawdropping large scale wedding of Stanford Blatch from Sex & The City 2, we saw the white carnations featured as the choice flower throughout the wedding. We were so inspired by the black and white theme of the wedding and how gorgeous the white carnation looked as a boutonniere that we recreated the flowers just for you to see!Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore a white carnation boutonniere as the best man of Stanford Blatch. The white carnation is simply astounding on its own against the dark color of the suit. We gave the tail a nice curl around as a finishing touch, just like the one Carrie wore.
Stanford wore a gorgeous white gardenia with leaves as his boutonniere. We replicated the look using a large white lisianthus, since gardenias are not available in Singapore. Though his boutonniere was kept straight, we decided to curl ours just to give it a little twist at the end.
