We just want to say a big thank you to all our clients and faithful supporters, friends. It has not been a very long journey but it has to come to an end. We have decided to close Enchanted Floral Boutique and will no longer be providing our wedding and floral services starting from 8 Nov 2010.

We will however welcome enquiries on rental of props and items for weddings like decorative bird cages, glass jars (for dessert tables!), pots, small buckets, tealight holders, lanterns, table easels, vases and other accessories.

Ebony & Ivory bouquets

It used to be a taboo to have a wedding theme with these colors. Now it is fast gaining popularity among the newly weds. Two recent bouquets we've done embraced that color theme boldly.

Jadis features an elegant style of white roses and carnations bound by thick black satin ribbons. The bride had specifically asked for white carnations and we think she has good taste for few have considered the underrated white carnations as a possible flower option for their wedding bouquets. The white carnation is long lasting and very elegant, especially for weddings.

Mirana is a straight to the point all roses bouquet formed using Avalanche white roses bound with quality grosgrain black and white ribbons. Reminding us of the white queen, Mirana in the quirky Tim Burton remake of Alice In Wonderland, we named the bouquet after her.

Holy Matrimony at Fort Canning White Studio

This is a long overdue post on a wedding set up we did at White Studio room in Fort Canning Park. The couple preferred a red and pink theme to brighten up the completely white room. So we worked out magic and created a theme according to their preferred color scheme. It certainly brightened up the room.

Solemnisation at Mandai Orchid Garden

Here is a garden solemnisation decor at the Mandai Orchid Garden with a pastel purple and pink theme. The solemnisation centerpiece came adorned with butterflies and ribbons to tie their wedding rings to. The venue provided the table runner and chair sashes which came in fushia and light pink.

The couple included their own handmade decor for the reception table and we simply added a potted flower arrangement to complete the look of the reception table. The bridal bouquet comprised of a variety of flowers specially picked by the bride including roses, eustomas, South African wildflowers, Holland's freesias and some lovely white sweet williams.

Enchanted's Favourite Blooms: Peonies

We decided to add a "Enchanted's Favourite Blooms" entry monthly just for our faithful readers so you learn more about flowers and have some ideas on what you can have in your bouquet and arrangements.

Our first featured flower has got to be our favourite flower, the peony or paeony. This is a premium bloom which has a large flower head which features a gorgeous display of multi-petals when bloomed. It is typically available in white, shades of red and many shades of pink. Peonies are available in Singapore by import from Holland, New Zealand and China.

Along with the plum blossom, it is a traditional floral symbol of Mongolia and China. In recent times, the peony has been the most popular flower of choice for weddings and is frequently featured in Martha Stewart's magazines. Peonies are such gorgeous classy flowers. One bloom in a bottle is all it takes to brighten your day.

Boutonnieres from Sex & The City 2!

From the jawdropping large scale wedding of Stanford Blatch from Sex & The City 2, we saw the white carnations featured as the choice flower throughout the wedding. We were so inspired by the black and white theme of the wedding and how gorgeous the white carnation looked as a boutonniere that we recreated the flowers just for you to see!

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore a white carnation boutonniere as the best man of Stanford Blatch. The white carnation is simply astounding on its own against the dark color of the suit. We gave the tail a nice curl around as a finishing touch, just like the one Carrie wore.


Stanford wore a gorgeous white gardenia with leaves as his boutonniere. We replicated the look using a large white lisianthus, since gardenias are not available in Singapore. Though his boutonniere was kept straight, we decided to curl ours just to give it a little twist at the end.
