Exciting colors for 2010

I've been wanting to rant about this for the longest time. If you ever wonder why I have so many pink decors, please don't sue. Pink is often a highly popular color theme. Sure it is a nice color (it's actually my favourite) but I think brides-to-be can be bold and try something different to spice things up and make your wedding more unique.

If let's say you must have pink, consider fuschia pink for a change, instead of the usual pastel tone. With that, you can pair with a really cheery combination of yellow and white! But let's say you like the pastel pink shade, how about mixing things up with orange and yellow, all pastel. I like to call that Peaches & Cream. At least you know the orange will make it look very different from the regular pink and white theme.

For the adventurous, I'd recommend combos like orange and green, white, red and aqua, yellow and white plus maybe a dash or black or brown and how about red, orange and yellow - a very solid combo.

I'm feeling a bit generous here. If you choose a color theme that I will deem as unique and we've not done before, I'll give you a 10% discount off your order. Just mention the code 'uniqueweddingcolors' when you make an enquiry. Offer applies to new enquiries of wedding decors and bouquets.

Wedding at Singapore Cricket Club

After a long break, we are back and here is our latest update of a recent concluded wedding at the Singapore Cricket Club. The bride's request was unique and requested for us to create mini-posies as a take-home gift for guests. Her favourite flower was the lily and so we used a mix of longiflorum lilies and alstroemerias from Holland accompanied with champagne lisianthus, roses and hypericums.

The mood was to be romantic, classy and the color theme was champagne, cream, pink so we themed it 'Peaches & Cream'. Complete with candle lights and petals, we believe the guests were enchanted by our decor for not a single one of the mini-posies was left behind. They even took home our handmade 'Take me home' signs!
