A simple decoration for a solemnisation was done recently at a chalet at NSRCC. The set up was mainly for the ROM table and a simple decor for the buffet line and a small arrangement for a coffee table inside. The color theme was pink and red and so we created a nice backdrop for the ROM table. The setting sun against the background created a beautiful lighting for the ceremony.
Some time later, we were very happy to receive a thank you text message from the satisfied client. Congratulations to you both!
We've finally created our long awaited Facebook page and we've uploaded our photo albums there which is an accumulation of our past works. It will be much easier from now on to view the images instead of digging through our past blog entries.
We'll run special promotions/contests exclusively on our facebook page so fans get the firsthand updates on these fans-exclusive promotions!
One of our favourite weddings would have to be this one at Raintree Villa, Labrador Park. The couple was initially apprehensive about going ahead with their black and white color theme but after exploring other options, they went ahead with it anyway.
We fondly named this theme Ebony and Ivory and created a march-in aisle with potted flowers topped with a crisp black satin ribbon bow on every pot. Black table runners were added to both the reception and solemnisation tables.
We also created a larger solemnisation arrangement combined with unity candles for the couple. Our favourite Avalanche roses were used along with white and green lisianthus, Australian wildflowers, white sweet williams amidst greens as the couple preferred more foliage in their arrangements. The bridal bouquet included some fragrant white freesias from Holland as a finishing touch complete with bold black satin ribbons.
Here is our long overdue update on one of the wedding set ups we did at Mimolette Restaurant. This is a follow-up lunch celebration amongst friends for Susan and Gabriel who had a chic wedding color theme of fuschia pink and lime green.
The decoration was done for all tables using a mix of flower arrangements in pots, vases, jars, etc. Our favourite decor item had to be the Granny Smith apples where we created a personalised label for the couple complete with fuschia pink grosgrain ribbon. A pity the breeze was quite strong and blew away the petals we scattered on the tables outside. But we're sure they appreciated the breeze on that lovely sunny day.
We are far behind on our updates but Happy Lunar New Year to all, if it isn't too late! Our latest update is a wedding bouquet we created especially for our friend Jacqueline. We decided it was best to name this bouquet after her.
Adhering to her bold color theme of red and turquoise (which we insist is more blue than turquoise), we made a rather sizeable bouquet to go with her ballgown style bridal gown for her church march-in. Using a mix of bright red roses, red ranunculus from Holland and uniquely red brunia albiflora from South Africa, we then wrapped it with turquoise blue ribbon. We even added a touch of long red ribbon to frame the overall bouquet from top to bottom.
Once again, congratulations you guys! Hope your honeymoon was amazing!
Marlene is created with a classy theme in mind using cream, light pastel colors to go with an elegant theme the bride had in mind. Using rarely available osiana cream roses, white lisianthus, South African berzelia lanuginosa and Holland white freesia, this bouquet was put together with some ruscus and bound with lush dark brown satin ribbons.
Adding to our collection is an enchanted bouquet we designed for a client who wanted to surprise his wife-to-be with a lush bouquet of 99 roses.
Designed with a light pastel theme of cream, pink and green to go with his wedding theme, we used a variety of roses, cute little bupleurum and ruscus leaves. Named for its sweet nature like Giselle the princess in the part-animated movie 'Enchanted', Giselle was complete with luscious wrappings and a lavishing ribbon bow.
